The Rich History of Ramen in Japan

Wakil Menteri Perdagangan (Wamendag) Jerry Sambuaga mengungkapkan, kolaborasi menjadi kunci penting dalam memaksimalkan perdagangan di kawasan ASEAN.

 

"Kenapa kolaborasi penting? Karena kita sekarang itu hidup di zaman serba ketergantungan dengan semua negara. Kita tidak bisa hidup sendiri dan perdagangan yang harus kita maksimalkan adalah perdagangan yang paling dekat, yang paling dekat adalah di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Di Asia Tenggara kita punya ASEAN, di ASEAN inilah kita mampu coba memaksimalkan apa yang menjadi potensi," ujar Jerry Sambuga dalam Mekong Basin Region Infrastructure Business Forum yang berlangsung di sela-sela pameran Trade Expo Indonesia 2024 di Tangerang, Banten, Jumat.

 

Wamendag melihat potensi antara kolaborasi dengan semua negara, tidak hanya dengan negara-negara di wilayah Mekong sebetulnya, mengingat yang namanya hubungan dagang tidak hanya bersifat bilateral tetapi juga regional dan global.

 

Indonesia mencatatkan surplus perdagangan untuk nonmigas dengan wilayah Mekong sebesar 456 juta dolar AS. Perdagangan Indonesia dan wilayah Mekong pada periode 2019--2023 mengalami tren kenaikan sebesar 9,14 persen.

 

Adapun komoditas-komoditas yang potensial dalam perdagangan non-migas di wilayah Mekong seperti batu bara, tembaga, minyak sawit (palm oil), sepeda motor, rokok, dan sebagainya.

 

Forum Mekong Basin Region Infrastructure Business diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peluang kerja sama perdagangan dan investasi antara Indonesia dengan negara-negara yang dilalui Sungai Mekong, baik di sektor infrastruktur, energi, dan makanan.

 

"Kita tahu bersama bahwa Indonesia bagian dari ASEAN dan negara-negara di wilayah Mekong juga bagian dari ASEAN. Selama ini kita melakukan perdagangan yang cukup masif, banyak sekali produk-produk yang potensial mulai dari batubara, crude palm oil (CPO) dan lain-lain. Tapi yang paling penting di sini adalah yang saya tekankan adalah soal kolaborasi," katanya.

 

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Wamendag juga menjelaskan bahwa ekonomi Indonesia tumbuh sebesar 5,05 persen pada triwulan II 2024.

 

Sedangkan tingkat inflasi Indonesia tercatat 2,1 persen pada Agustus 2024. Selama periode Januari--Agustus 2024, surplus neraca perdagangan Indonesia tercatat sebesar 18,85 miliar dolar AS.
